Shadee Giurgius, M.D.

Dr. Giurgius is a PGY-4 psychiatry resident graduating June 2024 now seeing adults 18+ with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, Alzheimer's disease, and other psychiatric disorders.

 

Dr. Giurgius and his best friends founded The Youth Movement Against Alzheimer's (YMAA) in 2003 during their undergraduate years. In 2023, YMAA was incorporated into Seth Rogen & Lauren Rogen's Alzheimer's nonprofit, Hilarity for Charity.

 

He has published scientific articles on topics including memory, aging, and other psychiatric conditions.

Dr. Giurgius will be furthering his geriatric training at the UCSF Geriatric Psychiatry Program 2024-2025.

 

Dr. Giurgius has been involved with OPICA, Los Angeles' #1 center for individuals with memory impairment for over 20 years and was honored in 2020 at their annual conference.
